WOW!! Finally a state with guts enough to stand up to modern-day political correctness, follow their constitution and thumb their nose at the federal government when they're wrong (that's everyday now). After all, the states and the People are guaranteed a republican form of government. See U.S. Const. Art IV, Sec 4 and also confirmed in Minn. Const. Art XIII, Sec.1.
It's time that we Minnesotans: If they are not going to do these most basic things to keep the U.S. Constitution and Minnesota Constitution sacred to our freedoms from over-governance...........we will fire them. We are amazingly tired of the blatant disregard for our constitutions by members of both parties. NOTE: A recent poll (12/17/09) shows that the Tea Party movement leads the Republicans in polls now and it's quickly gaining on the Democrats! Let this be a wake up call to all elected public servants -- we want to work with our legislators, sheriffs and judges. Oklahoma was one of the two states that had no one at the Continental Congress 2009. However, it looks as though they are three steps ahead of the rest of us in putting Uncle Sam on notice. We need to support them, let them know we are with them, and inform them about the AoF. Meanwhile, here is an account of recent legislation they have passed. Wow. We need more of this kind of action. Oklahoma HB 1330 has passed, 37 to 9, with a few liberals in the mix. This is an amendment to place the Ten Commandments on the front entrance to the state capitol. The feds in D.C., along with the ACLU, said it would be a mistake. Hey this is a conservative state, based on Christian values…! HB 1330 becomes state law. Guess what…....... Oklahoma did it anyway. Oklahoma recently passed HB 1804 into law. This law requires the state to incarcerate all illegal immigrants, and ship them back to where they came from unless they want to get a green card and become an American citizen. They all scattered. Hope we didn’t send any of them to your state. This was against the advice of the Federal Government, and the ACLU, they said it would be a mistake. Guess what…......... Oklahoma did it anyway. Oklahoma Recently passed SB 1102 into law. This new law requires DNA samples from any and all illegals in the Oklahoma database, for criminal investigative purposes. Pelosi said it was unconstitutional. Guess what…..... Oklahoma did it anyway. Several weeks ago, Oklahoma passed HJR 1003 a resolution declaring Oklahoma to be a Sovereign state, not under the Federal Government directives, Joining Texas, Montana and Utah as the only states to do so. More states are likely to follow: Louisiana, Alabama, Georgia, the Carolina’s, Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Arkansas, West Virginia, Mississippi, Florida. Hang on to that confederate money, it appears the South is about to rise up once again. The federal Government is taking bold steps to take away our right to bear arms. Oklahoma, a week ago, passed a law confirming people right in this state to bear arms and transport them in their vehicles. I’m sure that was a set back for the criminals (and Obamaites). The Liberals didn’t like it— But Guess what…........ Oklahoma did it anyway. Just this month, Oklahoma voted and passed a law that requires ALL driver’s license exams be printed in English, only in English, and no Guess what….who cares… Oklahoma is doing it anyway.
